I would like to develop more meaningful technology activities for my students and build more flipcharts for my ACTIVboard -- I just dont ever feel I have the time to do this during the school year, so I am thankful to have this time to work.

1. Laptop. Seriously.
2. Learning ways to take technology in my room past the "type your report" or "look this up on the internet".
3. Classroom managment-how to get all of my students using the technology, not just the fast ones.

I want to learn about scaffolding and how to efficiently create flipcharts that will truly enhance student learning. I also want the laptop which will smooth the transition between working at home and school.

I am looking for innovative ways to use technology to enhance student learning. I am hoping to be a more effective, more efficient teacher, and I know technology is the right tool!

I want to learn how to integrate technology into the curriculum that I already do. I am also looking forward to using the Activ Board (especially with Everyday Math)

I want to learn how to engage the students with technology rather than simply using it as a means for me to give them information. I hope it can enable me and the students to feel more comfortable using tech stuff in many situations (not just mathflipcharts :).

I want to learn how to use ActivStudio, and all the other new programs available to me now. I want to have enough knowledge so that I can try these programs on my own.

I would like to become more comfortable "playing" with my computer and the other technology available at school. I am also excited to learn new ways to incorporate more interactive technology within the classroom. Besides that, I want to have fun.

My hope is to push myself to learn new things with programs like ActiveStudio rather than simply settling with the things that I already know and am comfortable with.

I'm hoping to get a better understanding of integrating technology into all curricula areas...especially since I work with Merlin students. I hope to create some scaffolds and projects that will greater build on their already very strong understanding of the tech world!

I feel like a lot of the time I use technology almost as an afterthought in lessons - I come up with a paper and pencil lesson first, and then adapt it to use the technology that I feel like I need to use. That doesn't feel very efficient to me. I'm hoping that in ITP I can learn to use technology much more purposefully.

I want to learn how to incorporate technology with the kids in my gym, both to enhance what I am teaching and to improve student learning, especially with the health and fitness related concepts.

The laptop is a plus!

I am here to 1) get a laptop :)
2) learn how to use ActivStudio and everything that goes along with it and 3) meet and learn from teachers across the district. I am also really open to learning anything that the ITP team has to share!
