I hope to be able to have one more 'how do I' question. How do you take one page of a flip chart and import it into a new flip chart? (The rest of my questions will formulate 'just in time' . . . I'm sure there will be many.) Leah
Which method of (possibly desperate) requests for help do you prefer--email, phone call, bat signal, voice mail with message of my crying a/o saying naughty words?

Is there an easy way to transfer a PowerPoint presentation to an Activboard Flipbook? 3. How do you make the pages turn in Flipbook? 4. How do you turn the touch screen on and off? 5. How do you get rid the little icon above cursor? 6. How soon do you introduce your students to the Activote? If you're using it for the lunch count, do you talk to them about it during the "teacher meet and greet?" the day before school starts?
I would like to know the topics for the fall follow-up sessions. Hopefully, an Activboard class will be offered early, early (September!!). Perhaps a topic for one of the follow-up sessions could be transfering a book to AS. Another question -- what are more resources for finding sample flipcharts?
I know I will have tons of questions when I start working on things but right now I am drawing a blank on specifics. I would love to learn all those tech tips listed on the notepad but I know the philosophy is "just in time" not "just in case". I am suprisingly nervous about the Activboard. Usually new tech skills come easily but that seems so counter intuitive at times.
I am hoping that there will be a collection of 'step-by-step' directions or "screen shots" of many of the programs and cool things we learned that we will be able to look up? I will have a million more questions as I begin to work in my classroom, but my head is full now and I can't think of any at this moment. Kathy
I'll be able to answer this question better once I go home and have more time to practice and see what I am experiencing difficulty with. I think my most immediate need is to practice using the activeboard and make sure I understand how to navigate. You ALL have done a really wonderful job explaining as you go, so I don't have any specific questions at this time. I think I'm still in that beginner's stage where I can't anticipate my needs.
Here are a few questions... 1. How do we deal with parent permission slips and videotaping? Is there a permission slip form on t-home or do we create our own? 2. What if we are interested in taking additional classes on videotaping and ACTIVstudio during the school year... Is that a possibility? Clock hours, please!? Lori Cooks
My biggest questions will be when I create active studio lessons and our wonderful teachers will not be there. I hope that I'll be able to plow through scaffolds without a million questions. I know I'll be e-mailing questions like crazy during the year when I'm working, but I don't really have any right now. It's been a great week.

I would like to know how to complete the movie making so that i can start video taping some kiddos first thing as a baseline assessment.
A few ideas on how to introduce the eggs to parents during curriculum night and I would need this ASAP as we do 1st day and curriculum night Sept. 3rd at Endeavour.

Unfortunately, my questions usually materialize at the moment as I am struggling to do something... Has anyone made a flip chart designed to best introduce kinders to the active board? When are classes available for additional instruction? Why couldn't you arrange a better movie?
A lot of immediate questions were answered this morning when we covered ActivStudio, but I know as I continue with my scaffolds and flipcharts there will be many that come up and you won't be there!
Right now, I think I will need some help on conditional formatting, want to know more on Edclass, and using transparencies in ActivStudio. Also, do you know what's happening with FrontPage?

How do you create multiples of pictures from the resource library? i.e. 10 dime pictures instead of just one.
